OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Our occupational therapists are licensed clinicians who assist patients in learning how to once again safely complete daily functional tasks such as bathing, dressing, or eating. Occupational Therapy promotes independence and the restoration of function to various diseases.

Our Occupational Therapists provide services such as:

• Home Safety Education
• Functional independence training
• Eating retraining
• Dressing and grooming evaluation and retraining
• HomeSight Low Vision Program
• Post Stroke rehabilitation
• Improved use of upper body, lower body and hands
• Hygiene training (self care, shower, bathing)
• Environmental adaptations including return from a hospital stay and special adaptive equipment
