HOMESIGHT©
Evangeline Home Health is founder of HomeSight©, a nationally known and award-winning program designed for patients living with sight loss. Created and developed in 1997 by Lisi Coleman, RN, BSN and CEO of Evangeline, HomeSight© has improved the lives of hundreds of patients. Today, HomeSight© is offered nationally as a part of LiveAbility’s Suite of Healthcare Products.
Of all the special programs we’ve created to address specific needs of our patients, HomeSight© is our most widely known. We’ve even collaborated with The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/The Wilmer Eye Institute. This collaboration is anchored by a five-year grant funded by the National Institutes of Health (National Eye Institute) to study a Comparison of Low Vision Outcome Measures. We’ve become the alpha site for this national study that will ultimately involve 450 participants with HomeSight© program training and protocols as the standard treatment-of-choice for the study.

Evangeline’s revolutionary low vision rehabilitation program has made us a national innovator for science, but we’re still dedicated to helping our neighbors here at home — supporting important health initiatives and studies that improve care for a growing population of older Americans in southwest Louisiana and the nation.
